What is ReMx?
ReMx is a Motocross relay race where teams of 4 riders compete in a single elimination bracket head to head against other teams to determine the champion. Each time must have 1 rider from each of the following classes: 50cc, Girls, Women, Vet. The 50cc & Girls each do one lap, then the Women & Vet do 2 laps. To "pass the baton" your front wheel must touch the rear wheel of the next rider on your team.
Each team paid $350 to compete for a $3,000 purse that pays out as follows:
1st Place: $1,500
2nd Place: $1000
3rd Place: $500
Team MxBoot put together 3 amazing races to take home second place. We popped did our podium interview, popped some champagne, and each took home $250!
What's next for the Team Riders?
Axell & Skylar are off to regionals, racing for their tickets to Lorettas Lynn's Amateur National. Lauren is preparing to race 4 of the WMX Pro Nationals this summer. And Sam, he's got a busy schedule as The Boot Guy, but will definitely be spinning more laps every week!
